An eye-controlled, free communication software, based on artificial intelligence, to give a voice back to people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.

OUR ROADMAP

Our primary goal is to create a tool that enables the smoothest and most natural conversation possible between the patient and their family, friends, and medical professionals.

Discover the three stages of our project.

Version 1: AI-assisted dialogue

The first version of the tool focuses on users’ daily needs and establishing a natural and fluid dialogue flow. It uses artificial intelligence to provide contextual and personalized assistance, allowing users to express themselves freely and intuitively.

Key Features:

  • Advanced voice recognition for accurate language understanding.
  • Natural speech synthesis for clear and pleasant communication.
  • Contextual assistance to help users formulate their sentences and find the right words.
  • Personalization to adapt the tool to each user’s needs and preferences.

Version 2 : Offline functionalities

The second version of the tool focuses on reliability and accessibility by integrating offline functionalities.

Key Features:

  • Internal database for quick offline responses.
  • Offline operation for an usage independent of internet connectivity issues.
  • Automatic identification of the conversational partner for improved AI predictions.

Version 3: Remote Communication
and Multimodal AI

The third version of the tool paves the way for new communication and interaction possibilities through multimodal AI and remote communication support.

Key Features:

  • Remote communication to facilitate exchanges between users, even from a distance.
  • Multimodal AI to integrate facial recognition, eye tracking, and other non-verbal interactions, enhancing scene understanding.
  • Control of electronic devices for greater user autonomy.
  • Integration of local AI for a completely offline experience.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Hardware Configuration: The first version of IGOOR will establish a minimal hardware configuration and ensure gradual compatibility with different hardware and operating systems.

Specifications: A technical specifications document will be drafted to define:

  • Overall Architecture: The software architecture will be defined considering performance, scalability, and security constraints.
  • Development Platform: The choice of development platform will be made based on project needs and available expertise.
  • User Interface: The user interface will be designed to be intuitive, accessible, and customizable to meet the needs of disabled users.
  • Administration Interface: An administration interface will be developed to allow configuration and management of the application.

Support and Training:

We will also implement training support tools, including:

  • Online Guide: A comprehensive and accessible user guide will be made available online to facilitate the configuration and use of the application.
  • Training Support: The user guide will also serve as training material for caregivers who assist disabled users in installing and using the software.

Monitoring and Maintenance: We will implement the best maintenance guarantees through regularly updated documents available in open access.

Open-Source Development: IGOOR will be developed using an open-source approach to promote collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement of the application.

Community Contributions: The developer and user community will be encouraged to contribute to the development and enhancement of IGOOR.
